I am very happy to hear the good news that the people of Amhara must be united. And I fully support this idea.
As far as I am concerned Moresh must do more and I have also to do my part as an Amhara. It is very important to raise the awareness of the people. In my assessment more than 95% of the Amhara people are not aware that TPLF is exterminating their race . Only few who are expected/supposed to know have become bandas under a group called amhara national democratic movement(the agent of TPLF). From my experience I can say that the so-called amhara national democratic movement(led by non-amharas and kehadi amharas like bereket simon, addisu legesse, hilawe yosef, tefera walwa, ayalew gobeze, demeke mekonnen…) is a double-edge sword of TPLF in its genocidal mission against Amhara. This fake political organisation is there to keep Amhara people silent so that TPLF would accomplish its Nazi project. So this is the time to save our people. And I appreciate Moresh’s vision and mission.
However, I have the following points that Moresh Wogene shall take in to account.
1. The whole strategy must focus solely on TPLF. I have seen several of your press release equally condemening OLF. I know that OLF has done many atrocities against Amhara. But we have to be strategist. Because on the one hand, it is only TPLF which is our mortal enemy. Secondly, it would be to the advantage of TPLF when we also equally accuse other groups. We have to make our potential enemies more less. It is also important to see recent developments(even if in doubt) that OLF has began condemning the ethnic cleansing of Amhara. Finally, as a leader Moresh Wogene shall be very careful in its strategy. This needs due consideration. I hope your will correct your press releases and other strategies in lien with this 2. Moresh Wogene should not forget/ignore the issue of Raya. I have watched your documentary about the Amhara genocide. You forgot the issue of Raya.(Alamata, Korem, Ofla, Waja, Bala…). The people have been prevented from learning and speaking their language Amharaic. Every thing is being Tigreanized. Even though the atrocities committed against them(in terms of life) is much more less than the atrocities committed against the Amharas in Wolkait, their identity is being destroyed. I am from Waja, a town after Kobo and I know the problem very well. Moreover, in Raya TPLF tries to convince the new generation there that they should not question why they have been annexed to Tigray. TPLF tells to youngsters that ‘’the Neftegnas has betrayed you and they did not recognise you as Amhara and they told us to make you TIgray.’’ This is the systematic propaganda of TPLF to confuse the young generation not to raise the issue of identity and to make them tigre. Moreover, TPLF says to the people there ‘’see this neftegnas do not want you. What they need is the land.’’ These are some of the conspiracies of TPLF I know. So please take the issue of Raya in equal emphasis with Wolkait. 3. When we talk about the unity of Amhara people we are talking about all those people who live in Wollo, Gojam, Shewa , Gondar, the Raya and Wolkait people annexed by TPLF to tigray, and those Amharas living in all parts of the country and abroad. So avoid any possible fracture in this regard. TPLF has tried it best to divide the Amhara people by alienating those who speak Agewugna. Because TPLF wants to weaken Amhara in every possible way.
It is the strong unity of the People of Amhara that we can overcome the conspiracies of TPLF and save the people from extermination.

The 1976 TPLF Manifesto TPLF’s “Republic of Greater Tigray”

“The Republic of Greater Tigray” The Tigray People Liberation Front, TPLF had published their organization’s manifesto in February 1976, the booklet was printed in Sudan. The TPLF manifesto, clearly defined who a Tigryan is, the land that the TPLF considers as Tigray, and the final destination of the TPLF. The following comprises some important contents of the manifesto. a) A Tigryan is defined as anybody that speaks the language of Tigrigna including those who live outside Tigray, the Kunamas, the Sahos, the Afar and the Taltal, the Agew, and the Welkait. b) The geographic boundaries of Tigray extend to the borders of the Sudan including the lands of Humera and Welkait from the region of Begemidir in Ethiopia, the land defined by Alewuha which extends down to the regions of Wollo and including Alamata, Ashengie, and Kobo, and Eritrean Kunama, the Saho and Afar lands including Assab. C) The final goal of the TPLF is to secede from Ethiopia as an independent “Republic of Greater Tigray” by liberating the lands and peoples of Tigray. TPLF’s Ethiopia Map post-1991 The implementation of the manifesto had two important stages classified as a first stage of re-demarcating Ethiopian internal boundaries and a second stage of acquiring Tigryan lands from Eritrea and secede as an independent nation. Accordingly, the following important events took place; • After TPLF succeeded in holding power in Ethiopia, they have been working hard to change the internal regional administrations of Ethiopia at large and of Tigray in particular. As a result, they have imposed dictation on the Ethiopian parliament and succeeded in redefining the borders of different nationalities within Ethiopia. The boundaries of Tigray were defined exactly according to what was registered in their manifesto. They did this by annexing the lands of Welkait Humera up to the borders of Sudan from Begemidir province and Wollo’s Raya including Ashengie Enda Mehoni, ofla (Korem), Raya Azebo and Alamata. In order to justify the demarcation, they had to give up something in return and the lands closer to the Taltal and Afar regions of Ethiopia in eastern Tigray were temporarily sacrificed until the second stage of the project takes place. This important re-demarcation of Ethiopian internal boundaries resulted in the successful completion of the first stage of forming “Greater Tigray” later to be converged into the “Republic of Tigray” after the second stage is completed. • After completing the annexation of “Tigryan” lands from the provinces of Begemidir and Wollo, they moved ahead to compIete the annexation of portions of Eritrea to finalize the objectives of the manifesto in practice as the second stage of their project. Zalambessa is the closest one can get to the Eritrean Saho region and Adimurug in Bada. Obviously the temporarily sacrificed eastern Tigray region would now be simultaneously acquired in this second stage of the project since there would be no organized force that could stop the Weyanes inside Ethiopia. By claiming these lands and forcibly annexing them, the manifested “Democratic Republic of Tigray” would be practically reaIized and then of course cessation from Ethiopia would follow.
• AccompIishing the dream inside Ethiopia was easily performed by simply dictating terms in the parliament since TPLF administrates Ethiopia, while means to finish returning the port of Assab would be accomplished by the Ethiopian army, financed and supported by the Ethiopian economic and human resources. Patriotic Ethiopians are expected to side with TPLF in hope of probable return of Assab to Ethiopia, while the truth is that the port city, if recaptured, would not be Ethiopian but of the would be new nation of “Greater Tigray”. This is so because the second stage of the project would have been completed at this point, making it the right time for the TPLF to secede. If there is anything that might delay the declaration of the republic after this, it would have been the time required to consolidate their control of Eritrean portions by sheer force, further using and exploiting innocent and patriotic Ethiopian peoples expectations and support. This support would again be betrayed in the final stages of the creation of the republic. • While the imaginary manifested program is completed this way, the economic ploy had another direction. This direction was focused at transporting capital and material as much as possible from the rest of Ethiopia to Tigray for future use when the “Republic” is established. This would require for TPLF staying in power in Ethiopia until the plan is well implemented. The implementation of this economic program is crystal clear for any body who has recently traveled to Tigray. The TPLF/Weyane regime has been heavily investing Ethiopian capital in Tigray such that the region and the city of Mekele are the fastest growing in the country. Mekele is infested with so many new buildings which have no immediate contribution to the Tigryan economy. These are empty high rises ready to be used in the future when the republic which would include Assab is fully established. Besides the fact that numerous buildings have been built in Tigray at the expense of the Ethiopian economy, the following are few indicatives to that effect as to how much has so far been done in last 15 years of their power. Economically A• An international airport in Mekele with no immediate importance in terms of accommodating international guests and travelers since the city has yet to grow both financially and infrastructurally. Being this the fact, however, the erection of this new and expensive airport was based on two objectives. The short term objective is to help the TPLF’s war efforts against Eritrea by bombarding the same into submission without having to worry about air distance using the Ethiopian air force from Tigray. The long term objective was to move the entire Ethiopian air force to Mekele and convert it to the air force of the republic, and at the same time to use the international airport for civil aviation of the Republic of Greater Tigray after declaring independence from Ethiopia. Two more international airports have been completed in Tigray, again with no immediate importance in terms of accommodating international travelers. B• Three colleges in Mekele namely Engineering, Medical, and Business. These colleges are complete in terms of infrastructure for future use when the republic is established. C• The Cement, Textile, Electricity Dam, Marble, and Pharmaceutical factories in Tigray which costed hundreds of millions/billions of clean Ethiopian money. The port of Massawa was used to sneak materials inside Tigray in the name of “Ethiopian imported goods”, and used exclusively for Tigray without the knowledge of government offices in Addis Ababa. D• The multiple high rising office buildings empty for now but to be soon filled by the Weyane bureaucrats in independent Tigray. E• The luxury residential homes and spacious buildings such as those known by “Debri Hills” in the out skirts of Mekele for possible embassy offices and residence of diplomats. D• Refer to the extensive list of companies owned by TPLF with the majority having their head office in Tigray.
The above being few of the massive investment of Ethiopian economy in Tigray, their political and strategic plans were made to be effective when the group of top TPLF leaders moved their offices from Addis Abeba to Mekele. The movement coincided with the completion of the first stage of implementing the manifesto so they can closely monitor and design the implementation of the second stage of the project. In the process, they have been effectively preparing a “strong army” from within Tigray. The same TPLF group (the TPLF Coalition Committee) dictates terms on the entire Ethiopian issues. The central government of Ethiopia listens to the central committee of the TPLF residing in Tigray which has been working under the confusing philosophical banner of the “Marxist Leninist League of Tigray”. This group is instrumental in the process of completing the second stage and the frame work for the future government of the “Republic of Greater Tigray”. After controlling Assab and other planned lands at the expense of Ethiopian human and material resources, the TPLF group would only then complete the goals of their impractical manifesto fully. As easy as it seemed to them, they will finally move towards seceding from Ethiopia as an independent nation, leaving Ethiopia in confusion, uncertainty, and extreme danger of ethnic conflict, and Eritrea under a government that can be easily controlled by their authority. Some experts say they had planned to leave Ethiopia without a central government for Ethiopian major ethnic groups such as the Amharas and the Oromos to figure it out, and for them, gaining time to consolidate their “Republic”. At this point, the dream “the Republic of Greater Tigray” would have been put in practice and Tigray would secede from Ethiopia with Assab. In their plan Assab would be Tigryan and never Ethiopian.
Finally We encourage all Ethiopians to prove the validity of the contents in this article by requesting the manifesto from other political organizations. This dangerous manifesto has been revealed by the TPLF leaders in February 1976 during the initial stages of the organization. It is important for every Ethiopian to be informed about this issue and also raise the level of awareness and know what exactly is going on in our beloved country. Insecure and completely disorganized Ethiopia would be the result of this crazy manifesto if implemented. Materially, the north eastern Ethiopia including the entire Afar and Taltal regions and the already taken portions of Wollo and Begemidir, and politically, a chaotic and uncertain future that can lead to any thing one can possibly imagine are the results of the TPLF/Weyane’s manifesto for Ethiopia. It is important to point the fact that the Tigryan people are as victims of this plot as any other Ethiopian. The responsibility of this mess is directed towards few fascist TPLF leaders who recklessly and selfishly betrayed their own people’s struggle of 17 years. They forgot the bitter struggle in the past and became the same type of chauvinists and oppressors they fought against in the past.
Dictators like TPLF cancer (idiot) group search many reasons and ways instead of admitting their mistakes; prepare toys (forged Amaras) that can help them achieve their mission. These people coming to the district are illiterates sent to humiliate innocent people; for the last two decades they need the fertile land from Gondar and Wollo not the people that is why they made the district under their administration for NO history reference. It is estimated that over the last sixteen years, some $3 billion worth of agricultural produce has been marketed from these regions and pocketed by your friends and TPLF business concerns. The people of Gondar Province, for instance, are exploring the possibilities of taking the case to court. They not only want the release of all those whom you still keep in prison, and the return of their land, but also the retroactive payment of some $3 billion as compensation for what they have lost from their farms. It is often said that in a situation where there are no checks and balances, transparency and accountability, or an enlightened free press and civil society, those who hold power cannot wield it without instilling tyranny or master corruption without being corrupted.
We have heard very many conflicting views about your government. As a result, we, a group of Ethiopian students in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Ethiopia who have no reason to fear your government, want to give you the benefit of the doubt. In that context, we have formulated the following series of questions for your consideration. We are also inviting Ethiopian civil society groups and discussion forums to study the questions. Your Excellency can be assured that your response to them will stimulate more discussion and research to the good of the country and your government. It is in this spirit that we took the initiative to forward the questions. The 1976 TPLF Manifesto was designed to creat great Tigray( “Abay Tigray ” ) including Gonder and Wollo Provinces. The process of forming the new states was conducted based on identity, essentially language, and in disregard of the pre-1991 provincial maps. The new Tigray state consists areas previously located in Tigray, Gondar and Wollo provinces. Afar state is includes the previous eastern Tigray and Wollo Provinces. The four weredas – namely: kefeta humera, wolqait, tedege, and tselemet, which were part of Gondar Province – became part of Tigray state and Raya Azebo, Alamata, Ende Mehari and Ofla(Korem) which were part of Wollo Province became part of tigray state.

“The Republic of Greater Tigray”
The Tigray People Liberation Front, TPLF had published their organization’s manifesto in February 1976, the booklet was printed in Sudan. The TPLF manifesto, clearly defined who a Tigryan is, the land that the TPLF considers as Tigray, and the final destination of the TPLF. The following comprises some important contents of the manifesto.
a) A Tigryan is defined as anybody that speaks the language of Tigrigna including those who live outside Tigray, the Kunamas, the Sahos, the Afar and the Taltal, the Agew, and the Welkait.
b) The geographic boundaries of Tigray extend to the borders of the Sudan including the lands of Humera and Welkait from the region of Begemidir in Ethiopia, the land defined by Alewuha which extends down to the regions of Wollo and including Alamata, Ashengie, and Kobo, and Eritrean Kunama, the Saho and Afar lands including Assab.
C) The final goal of the TPLF is to secede from Ethiopia as an independent “Republic of Greater Tigray” by liberating the lands and peoples of Tigray.
This being the manifesto of TPLF in 1976,
the question is how much of this program is implemented so far?

The implementation of the manifesto had two important stages classified as a first stage of re-demarcating Ethiopian internal boundaries and a second stage of acquiring Tigryan lands from Eritrea and secede as an independent nation. Accordingly, the following important events took place;
• After TPLF succeeded in holding power in Ethiopia, they have been working hard to change the internal regional administrations of Ethiopia at large and of Tigray in particular. As a result, they have imposed dictation on the Ethiopian parliament and succeeded in redefining the borders of different nationalities within Ethiopia. The boundaries of Tigray were defined exactly according to what was registered in their manifesto. They did this by annexing the lands of Welkait Humera up to the borders of Sudan from Begemidir province and Wollo’s Raya including Ashengie Enda Mehoni, ofla (Korem), Raya Azebo and Alamata. In order to justify the demarcation, they had to give up something in return and the lands closer to the Taltal and Afar regions of Ethiopia in eastern Tigray were temporarily sacrificed until the second stage of the project takes place. This important re-demarcation of Ethiopian internal boundaries resulted in the successful completion of the first stage of forming “Greater Tigray” later to be converged into the “Republic of Tigray” after the second stage is completed.
• After completing the annexation of “Tigryan” lands from the provinces of Begemidir and Wollo, they moved ahead to compIete the annexation of portions of Eritrea to finalize the objectives of the manifesto in practice as the second stage of their project. Zalambessa is the closest one can get to the Eritrean Saho region and Adimurug in Bada. Obviously the temporarily sacrificed eastern Tigray region would now be simultaneously acquired in this second stage of the project since there would be no organized force that could stop the Weyanes inside Ethiopia. By claiming these lands and forcibly annexing them, the manifested “Democratic Republic of Tigray” would be practically reaIized and then of course cessation from Ethiopia would follow.
• AccompIishing the dream inside Ethiopia was easily performed by simply dictating terms in the parliament since TPLF administrates Ethiopia, while means to finish returning the port of Assab would be accomplished by the Ethiopian army, financed and supported by the Ethiopian economic and human resources. Patriotic Ethiopians are expected to side with TPLF in hope of probable return of Assab to Ethiopia, while the truth is that the port city, if recaptured, would not be Ethiopian but of the would be new nation of “Greater Tigray”. This is so because the second stage of the project would have been completed at this point, making it the right time for the TPLF to secede. If there is anything that might delay the declaration of the republic after this, it would have been the time required to consolidate their control of Eritrean portions by sheer force, further using and exploiting innocent and patriotic Ethiopian peoples expectations and support. This support would again be betrayed in the final stages of the creation of the republic.
ReplyDelete• While the imaginary manifested program is completed this way, the economic ploy had another direction. This direction was focused at transporting capital and material as much as possible from the rest of Ethiopia to Tigray for future use when the “Republic” is established. This would require for TPLF staying in power in Ethiopia until the plan is well implemented. The implementation of this economic program is crystal clear for any body who has recently traveled to Tigray. The TPLF/Weyane regime has been heavily investing Ethiopian capital in Tigray such that the region and the city of Mekele are the fastest growing in the country. Mekele is infested with so many new buildings which have no immediate contribution to the Tigryan economy. These are empty high rises ready to be used in the future when the republic which would include Assab is fully established. Besides the fact that numerous buildings have been built in Tigray at the expense of the Ethiopian economy, the following are few indicatives to that effect as to how much has so far been done in last 15 years of their power.
Economically
A• An international airport in Mekele with no immediate importance in terms of accommodating international guests and travelers since the city has yet to grow both financially and infrastructurally. Being this the fact, however, the erection of this new and expensive airport was based on two objectives. The short term objective is to help the TPLF’s war efforts against Eritrea by bombarding the same into submission without having to worry about air distance using the Ethiopian air force from Tigray. The long term objective was to move the entire Ethiopian air force to Mekele and convert it to the air force of the republic, and at the same time to use the international airport for civil aviation of the Republic of Greater Tigray after declaring independence from Ethiopia. Two more international airports have been completed in Tigray, again with no immediate importance in terms of accommodating international travelers.
B• Three colleges in Mekele namely Engineering, Medical, and Business. These colleges are complete in terms of infrastructure for future use when the republic is established.
C• The Cement, Textile, Electricity Dam, Marble, and Pharmaceutical factories in Tigray which costed hundreds of millions/billions of clean Ethiopian money. The port of Massawa was used to sneak materials inside Tigray in the name of “Ethiopian imported goods”, and used exclusively for Tigray without the knowledge of government offices in Addis Ababa.
D• The multiple high rising office buildings empty for now but to be soon filled by the Weyane bureaucrats in independent Tigray.
E• The luxury residential homes and spacious buildings such as those known by “Debri Hills” in the out skirts of Mekele for possible embassy offices and residence of diplomats.
D• Refer to the extensive list of companies owned by TPLF with the majority having their head office in Tigray.
Politically and Strategically
ReplyDeleteThe above being few of the massive investment of Ethiopian economy in Tigray, their political and strategic plans were made to be effective when the group of top TPLF leaders moved their offices from Addis Abeba to Mekele. The movement coincided with the completion of the first stage of implementing the manifesto so they can closely monitor and design the implementation of the second stage of the project. In the process, they have been effectively preparing a “strong army” from within Tigray. The same TPLF group (the TPLF Coalition Committee) dictates terms on the entire Ethiopian issues. The central government of Ethiopia listens to the central committee of the TPLF residing in Tigray which has been working under the confusing philosophical banner of the “Marxist Leninist League of Tigray”. This group is instrumental in the process of completing the second stage and the frame work for the future government of the “Republic of Greater Tigray”.
After controlling Assab and other planned lands at the expense of Ethiopian human and material resources, the TPLF group would only then complete the goals of their impractical manifesto fully. As easy as it seemed to them, they will finally move towards seceding from Ethiopia as an independent nation, leaving Ethiopia in confusion, uncertainty, and extreme danger of ethnic conflict, and Eritrea under a government that can be easily controlled by their authority. Some experts say they had planned to leave Ethiopia without a central government for Ethiopian major ethnic groups such as the Amharas and the Oromos to figure it out, and for them, gaining time to consolidate their “Republic”. At this point, the dream “the Republic of Greater Tigray” would have been put in practice and Tigray would secede from Ethiopia with Assab. In their plan Assab would be Tigryan and never Ethiopian.

ReplyDeleteWe encourage all Ethiopians to prove the validity of the contents in this article by requesting the manifesto from other political organizations. This dangerous manifesto has been revealed by the TPLF leaders in February 1976 during the initial stages of the organization. It is important for every Ethiopian to be informed about this issue and also raise the level of awareness and know what exactly is going on in our beloved country. Insecure and completely disorganized Ethiopia would be the result of this crazy manifesto if implemented. Materially, the north eastern Ethiopia including the entire Afar and Taltal regions and the already taken portions of Wollo and Begemidir, and politically, a chaotic and uncertain future that can lead to any thing one can possibly imagine are the results of the TPLF/Weyane’s manifesto for Ethiopia. It is important to point the fact that the Tigryan people are as victims of this plot as any other Ethiopian. The responsibility of this mess is directed towards few fascist TPLF leaders who recklessly and selfishly betrayed their own people’s struggle of 17 years. They forgot the bitter struggle in the past and became the same type of chauvinists and oppressors they fought against in the past.

ይህን በተመለከተ ወያኔ/ህወሃት እና ሻዕቢያ እንግሊዝ አገር ለንደን ከተማ ከግንቦት 5 ቀን እስከ ግንቦት 9 ቀን 1983 ዓ.ም. የቀድሞው የአሜሪካ ፕሬዚደንት ጂሚ ካርተር የሻዕቢያ መሪ ኢሳያስ አፈወርቂ እና የወያኔው መሪ መልስ ዜናዊ ባሉበት ስብሰባ ኢትዮጵያ 85 ሚሊዮን ህዝብ ስላለባት የባህር በር ያስፈልጋታል:: አሰብም ከኤርትራ ያልተካለለ በመሆኑ በአጼ ኃይለስላሴም ሆነ በደርግ ስርዓትም ከኤርትራ ውጭ ሆኖ በወሎ አፋር የተካለለ ስለነበር ቀደም ሲልም አሰብ ከኤርትራ ውጪ ሆኖ በጣሊያንም ብዙ ያልተደፈረች የኢትዮጵያ የባህር በር እንደነበረች ይታወቃል:: አሰብ የኢትዮጵያ የባርህ በር መሆን አለበት ብለው ሃሳባቸውን ሲያቀርቡ የወያኔው መሪ መለስ ዜናዊ በጣም ተናዶ ኤርትራ በኢትዮጵያ ቅኝ አገዛዝ የወደቀች ሃገር የነበሩ አመራር አጼ ኃይለስላሴ ሆኑ ደርግ ያስቀመጡት ካርታ ህወሃት አይቀበልም:: አሰብ የኤርትራ መሬት ነው:: እኛ አሁን በኢትዮጵያ ስልጣን የምንቆጣጠረው የወደብ ችግር አይኖረንም:: ችግር አይፈጠርብንም:: ብንፈልግ ጂቡቲን አሊያም የሶማሊያ እና የኬኒያን ወደቦች እንጠቀማለን:: አሰብ የኤርትራ ስለሆነ እምነታችንም ይህ በመሆኑ አሰብ የኤርትራ እንጂ የኢትዮጵያ አይደለም::

ራያን ስንመለከት ደግሞ ራያ ማለት በስሜን ወሎ እና በደቡብ ትግራይ ሰፍሮ የሚገኝ ህዝብ ነው። ይህ ህዝብ የራሱ የሆነ ባህል እና ወግ፡ ማለትም እንደ አነጋገር፡ አለባበስ፡ የሰርግ ፡ የለቅሶ ስነስራአት ያለው ኩሩ እና ጀግና ህዝብ ነው። የራያ ህዝብ ከሚደነቅበትና ከሚያስደስት ባህሉ ሁሉም የእምነት ተከታዮች በተለይምሙስሊም ክርስቲያንሳይል በመቻቻል በህብረት በአንድ ላይ ተከባበሮ የሚኖር ህዝብ ሲሆን የአለባበስ ባህሉ ሌላው የሚደነቅለት አና ባህላዊ ጭፈራው ሲያዩት የሚያስግርም አና የሚያስድስት ነው። ከባህላዊ ጭፈራዎቹ እንደ ዕጉማየዕ ዕመጋልዋዕ ፡ ወዘተ መጥቀስ ይቻላል፡፡ ህዝቡ የሚኖርበት አከባቢ እንደሚከተለው ይዋሰናል። በሰሜን እንደርታ፡ በደቡብ የጁ፡ በምስራቅ አፋር እንድሁም በምእራብ ላስታ ያዋሱኑታል። የከተሞች ስም ለመጥቀስ ያክል አላማጣ፡ ቆቦ፡ ኮረም፡ ማይጨው፡ መሆኒ በመባል ይታወቃሉ። የህዝቡ አስተዳድር እንደየ መንግስቶቹ ስቀያየር የኖረ ሲሆን፡ ቀደም ስል ራያን በሁለት አውራጃዎች በመክፈል ራያ ና ቆቦ ማእከሉ አላማጣ፡ ራያ ና አዘቦ ማእከሉ ማይጨው በማድረግ በወሎ ጠቅላይ ግዛት ስር ይተዳድር ነበር። በአሁን ስአት የወያኔ መንግስት በሚያራምድው የከፋፍለህ ግዛ ስርአት ሳይፈልግ፡ አዘቦን ሙሉ በሙሉ እንዲሁም ራያ ና ቆቦ በመባል ሲታወቅ የነብረዉን ለሁለት በመክፈል አላማጣን ወደ ትግራይ በመውሰድ የህዝቡን በተለይም የገበሬውን ኑሮ በማመሳቀል ላይ ይገኛል። በኢትዬጵያ ታሪክ ራያ ትግሬ ሆኖ አያዉቅም።በ1991 (እ.ኤ.አ) በተደረገው ቅርጫ ቆቦ በይደር በአማራ ክልል እንድቆይ ቢወሰንም በአሁኑ ጊዜ ወያኔ ስለተደላደለ ቆቦን ወደ ትግራይ ክልል ለማጠቃለል እየቋመጠ ይገኛል።በተጨማሪም ካሳ ተክለ ብርሃን በተባለ ወያኔ የብአደን ካድሬ ዋግን ጠቅሎ ለትግራይ ለመስጠት የአጼ ካሌብ ልጆችና የአሸንዳ ሻደይ ባህል ከአማራዉ ሳይሆን ከትግሬዎች ጋር ያቀራርበናል የሚል አቋም ይዞ መንቀሳቀስ ጀምሯል።ወገን እባክህ ንቃ!!!!ወይ ጥቃት! ጥቃት ይሏል ከዚህ በላይ ምን ሊሆን ይችላል!‹‹ጥቃት የሞት ታላቅ ወንድም ነው››ወይ ነዶ ፣ ወይ ነዶ!!!መሬታችንን ሁሉ አንድ ኢንች መሬት ሳናስቀር እንደምናስመልስ ወያኔዎች እስከ አጥንታቸዉ ድረስ ዘልቆ ሊገባቸዉ ይገባል።ይህን ለማድረግ እስከ አፍንጫችን ድረስ መታጠቅ። አናት የሚበሳ ፡ጉልበት የሚሰብር፡ ተራሮችን የሚያንቀጠቅጥ መሳሪያ ያስፈልገናል።ተወደደም ተጠላም የወሎ መሬት ጉዳይ የተዳፈነ እሳት ሆኖ ነው የሚቆየዉ።
አገራችን ቆላ መስክ የለ ከደጅ፣
እንዲህ አፈር ላፈር እንጫዎት እንጂ፤
የራያ ሸንበቆው ማማሩ፣ ማማሩ፣
ቆርጠው ጣሉት እንጂ ለም አገር እያሉ፡፡
እኔን ከፋኝ እንጂ አገሬን ምን ከፋው፣
ግራር አበቀለ ዝሆን የማይገፋው፡፡

ReplyDeleteአንድ አዛዉት ያሉኝን ላካፍላችሁ ትግሬዎቹ ለምለም የሆኑትንና የወርቅ ማእድን ያላቸዉን መሬቶች መርጠዉ ከጎንደርና ወሎ ሲወስዱ ዝምታ፤ ነዳጅ ዘይት አላቸዉ የሚባሉትንም ለራሳቸዉና ለሱዳን ሲሰጡ ዝምታ፤ ሱዳኖች እኮ ወያኔ ጀግና እያለ በየለቱ የሚያሰለቸንን የአፄ ዮሐንስን አንገት የቀሉ ጠላቶች ናቸዉ።ለትግሬዎች ግን አማራዉ የባሰ ጠላት ሆኖ ተወስዶ ነፃነቱን ተገፎ ሲረገጥ ዝምታ፤ እባክህ ተወኝ የአማራ ምሁር አሞቱ ፈሷል ብለዉ ተሰናብተዉኝ ሄዱ።ከጎንደር በጣም ለም መሬቶች ጠለምት፤ወልቃይት ጠገደና ሁመራ ወደ ትግራይ ተከልለዋል። ከወሎ ኮረም፡አላማጣ፡ራያ አዘቦ፡አበርገሌ ጠቅለዉ ወደ ትግራይ ወስደዋቸዋል።በወሎ ጠቅላይ ግዛት ስር ይተዳደር የነበረዉን አሰብን ለኤርትራ ሰጥተዉ ኢትዮጵያን ወደብ አልባ አደረጓት።ትግሬዎች ይህም አላረካቸዉ ብሎ ታች አርማጭሆን ፡የሳንጃ መተማና ቋራ ለም የሆኑና ነዳጅ ዘይት ያለባቸዉ መሬቶችን ለሱዳን አስረከቡ፡እነዚህ ቆሌ የራቃቸዉ ሰይጣኖች ምን እስኪያረጉን ነዉ የምንጠብቀዉ አይ አማራ መሬታችን ነጭ አይኖርባትም አይገዛንም ብለው በዱር በገደሉ የተዋደቁ ልጆች እንዳልነበሩት የባንዳ መዓት ተሰብስቦ ዛሬ እንደዚህ ይደፈር፥በወያኔ ሃያ ሁለት ዓመት አስከፊ አገዛዝ ምክንያት አማራ ክልል ለከባድ ጥፋትና ውድቀት ተዳርጓል።ለነጻነታችን፡ለመሬታችንና ለተዋረደው ስብዕናችን መከበር ስንል ልንከፍለው የማንፈልገው መስዋዕትነት እንደሌለ ወያኔን የማሳወቂያ ጊዜው አሁን ነው።አማራዎች ከአሁን ጀምረን ከነፃ መሬታችን ትግሬዎችን ጠራርገን ማጥፋት አለብን።ይህንን አሳፋሪ ፋሽስታዊ አገዛዝ መታገስ ትዕግሰት ሳይሆን ፍረሃት ነዉ ሊሆን የሚችለዉ፥፥

"You claim to be guided by “the principle of self-determination. “ Why did you then annex by force of arms Raya, Azebo, Alamata and Ofla from Wollo Province, and Humera, Wolkait, and Tsegede from Gondar Province, which have never been part of Tigrai, and evicted the natives and settled some 700,000 Tigrean farmers and soldiers on their land? Why are hundreds of them languishing in dungeons in Tigrai? Why is land which belongs to Ethiopia being constantly transferred to the Sudan? It is estimated that over the last sixteen years, some $3 billion worth of agricultural produce has been marketed from these regions and pocketed by your friends and TPLF business concerns. The people of Gondar Province, for instance, are exploring the possibilities of taking the case to court. They not only want the release of all those whom you still keep in prison, and the return of their land, but also the retroactive payment of some $3 billion as compensation for what they have lost from their farms. Could you comment?"

It is often said that in a situation where there are no checks and balances, transparency and accountability, or an enlightened free press and civil society, those who hold power cannot wield it without instilling tyranny or master corruption without being corrupted.
We have heard very many conflicting views about your government. As a result, we, a group of Ethiopian students in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Ethiopia who have no reason to fear your government, want to give you the benefit of the doubt. In that context, we have formulated the following series of questions for your consideration. We are also inviting Ethiopian civil society groups and discussion forums to study the questions. Your Excellency can be assured that your response to them will stimulate more discussion and research to the good of the country and your government. It is in this spirit that we took the initiative to forward the questions. Since we live in a globalized village, we have also sent copies of the questions to certain governments and international organizations of our interest.

The 1976 TPLF Manifesto was designed to creat great Tigray( “Abay Tigray ” ) including Gonder and Wollo Provinces. The process of forming the new states was conducted based on identity, essentially language, and in disregard of the pre-1991 provincial maps. The new Tigray state consists areas previously located in Tigray, Gondar and Wollo provinces. Afar state is includes the previous eastern Tigray and Wollo Provinces. The four weredas – namely: kefeta humera, wolqait, tedege, and tselemet, which were part of Gondar Province – became part of Tigray state and Raya Azebo, Alamata, Ende Mehari and Ofla(Korem) which were part of Wollo Province became part of tigray state.

A. Tigray
1. Education. Tigray has 150% primary education coverage, 100% secondary education coverage, 98% preparatory education coverage
2. Health. Tigary has 97% health coverage
3. Road. Tigray has 98% road coverage
4. factories. Tigray has many heavy and big factories
5. irrigation. All Tigray farmers use modern irrigation and technology
B. Amhara
1. Education. Primary education 52% coverage, secondary education 21% coverage, preparatory education 18% coverage
2. Road. Amhara has only 17% coverage
3.Health. Amhara has only 63% coverage
4. factory. Amhara has almost no factory
5. Irrigation. Majoirty of Amhara farmers have not irrigation opportunity
